Crime on the Comstock

Final Crime on the Comstock Newsletter

Howdy!

We hope you all had a great time at Left Coast Crime 2018 in Reno. We are grateful for your patience and good humor with the inevitable bumps in the road. We are pleased to announce that we met our bar tab guarantee in order to make the Lobby Bar non-smoking Thursday through Saturday. The Nugget was impressed!

Silent and Live Auction

Our thanks to everyone who donated items for our Silent and Live Auctions and all our generous bidders on auction items and the quilt. We raised $8,055 for the Women and Children’s Center of the Sierra: $1,160 Quilt Raffle, $2,515 Silent Auction, $4,380 Live Auction. LCC 2018 is matching that amount, and our treasurer just wrote a check for $16,110 to the Women and Children’s Center of the Sierra. They are very grateful for the generosity of the LCC community!

A few pictures...

Thanks to LCC photographer Darrell Hoemann, here are a few pictures from the convention. Additional shots, including some 360° videos, appear on our Facebook page.

Thanks again to our generous sponsors!
