Pairs of authors are invited to host a Banquet Table at the Lefty Awards Banquet on Saturday, February 28. Author requests will be taken through February 13.
The Awards Banquet seating will be at round tables ten: two Author Hosts plus eight fans, who will sign up to join the hosted table as your guests.
As hosts, you’ll welcome your guests, perhaps provide a small token of appreciation for their love of your books — it’s up to you — and answer any questions they may have about your writing or anything else you want to talk about.
Whatever you decide to do as Table Hosts is fine. Some hosts decorate their tables, bring headgear (fedoras to tiaras), or give a gift (books to dog biscuits).
The most important thing is that your guests (and you!) have a good time at the Banquet; your conversation and the pleasure of your company will ensure that happens.
Note: There will be open tables for authors and fans who wish to sit with their friends. No reservations are taken for the open tables. |
