Kim Keeline
Kim Keeline is the Communications Director for a local writing group, San Diego Writers, Ink and a founding board member of Partners in Crime: the San Diego chapter of Sisters in Crime. She hopes to be launching her cozy mystery series set in a train museum soon, but in the meantime she runs a 1907 Baldwin locomotive in northern San Diego about twice a month as a volunteer. She seldom uses her Ph.D. in English anymore, but enjoys working in marketing and writing fields. She geeks out about trains, airships, technology, popular culture, and books. She has just started Book Scene: San Diego, a video web series on the collecting and selling of books. With her husband, a series book expert, she collects children’s series like Nancy Drew, Tom Swift, Trixie Belden, and the Three Investigators.

Treasurer: Corey Lynn Fayman

“A powerful new voice on the crime-fiction scene” (ForeWord Reviews), Corey Lynn Fayman has done hard time as a musician, songwriter, and sound designer, but still refuses to apologize for it. Black’s Beach Shuffle, the first novel featuring the guitar-slinging detective Rolly Waters, was a San Diego Book Awards finalist. The second, Border Field Blues, won the genre award at the 2013 Hollywood Book Festival. His third Rolly Waters mystery, Desert City Diva, won the Bronze Award for Foreword Reviews 2016 INDIEFAB Book of the Year. Many years soaking up the famously temperate climate of his hometown have had no noticeable effect on Mr. Fayman’s attitude.
