 Each Left Coast Crime Convention raises money to support
a local literacy organization with funds raised through
a silent and live auction and the annual Quilt Raffle. LCC 2022’s recipient is Croak & Dagger’s Great (Little) Library Adventure. Croak & Dagger is the New Mexico chapter of Sisters in Crime and a New Mexico non-profit social organization. The Great (Little) Library Adventure is C&D’s free community-outreach program to libraries identified by the NM Rural Libraries Initiative—the 50+ smallest public and community libraries in the state. Croak & Dagger provides participating libraries with information about New Mexico authors and their books as well as speakers for free public events. Proceeds from the Quilt Raffle and the auctions will go to Croak & Dagger's Great (Little) Library Adventure, shared as equitably as possible among the tiny community libraries of New Mexico. Each library will make its own decisions about use of the funds, whether for materials, other services to support community literacy, or infrastructure challenges that inhibit the library’s literacy mission. Croak & Dagger will request a brief report from each library about how the donation has addressed literacy initiatives in that community.
Anyone — reader, writer, bookseller, librarian, blogger — may donate an item or two to the silent auction.

You can either mail your Silent Auction donations to yourself at the hotel or bring them with you. Silent Auction Co-Chairs Molly Moeglein and Donnell Ann Bell will setting up the Silent Auction Room on Wednesday late afternoon and Thursday morning, but will accept donations on Friday as well.
