Hotel & Travel

On March 23 we learned (Surprise!) that as of April 1, 2022, the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque will be renamed The Clyde Hotel, after 1930s New Mexico Governor Clyde Tingley, and no longer part of the Hyatt chain. According to a letter we received, all reservations will be automatically transferred to the new reservation system with no change, except that guests will not be able to apply Hyatt points. If you have any questions about your hotel reservation, please call the Hyatt at 505-842-1234. Starting April 1, call The Clyde Hotel at 505-302-6930.

Our convention rate is $134 for the convention nights, plus three nights before and after the convention (subject to availability) so you can extend your stay in Albuquerque. Amenities for LCC registrants include free wireless Internet in guest rooms and meeting rooms and complimentary self-parking in the hotel’s secured garage.

The LCC room rate is reserved for registered attendees. The hotel code is included with your registration receipt. The LCC discount code expired March 22, 2022. A hotel reservation cancellation less than 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival will result in a charge equal to one night’s room and tax.

Located in downtown Albuquerque, the hotel’s rooms provide beautiful views of the mountains and the city. At 20 stories, the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque is the 2nd tallest building in the state of New Mexico! Albuquerque’s elevation is 5,312 feet, and the high desert climate features 280 sunny days each year. In April, the average temperature is 68°/42° with very low humidity.

The hotel also includes a Starbucks, Keva Juice (smoothies, fresh-squeezed juices, frozen yogurt), and Indelible (coffee, tea, soup, sandwiches, dessert).
